Program 3 Week 6 – Imagination

Week 6 – Imagination

We have been given a highly valuable asset called imagination. Our only limitation is in how we set about using and developing this asset.

Our imagination faculty functions in two forms. One is known as synthetic imagination and the other as creative imagination.

Through the faculty of synthetic imagination, we can arrange old concepts or plans into new combinations.

This faculty creates nothing, it merely works with the material of experience, education, research, and observation. It is used to solve problems and come up with solutions when this can be done without the need for creative imagination.

Through the faculty of creative imagination the finite mind of man has direct communication with Infinite Intelligence.

It is the faculty through which hunches and inspirations are received, through which all original thoughts or new ideas are handed over to man.

It is also through this faculty that thought vibrations from the minds of others are received. This means one individual can tune-in to the subconscious minds of other men.

The creative imagination works automatically, and it functions only when the conscious mind is vibrating at an exceedingly high rate. For example, when the conscious mind is stimulated through the emotion of a strong desire.

The creative faculty then becomes more aroused, more receptive to the vibrations of Infinite Intelligence, more alert to synchronicities, coincidences and serendipities – inspirations and hunches now enter our mind, creativity flows through us, and opportunities start to line up “for” us.

This level of vibration with the creative imagination only happens in proportion to its development through use. This statement is significant.

Just like any muscle or organ of the body develops through use, so does the synthetic and the creative imagination.

Desire is only a thought or an impulse. The use of these two faculties is required to transform any desire into its physical counterpart. The plans follow the use of these two faculties, and action then follows the creation of the plans.

The body has an electro-magnetic field of energy

As far as science has been able to determine, the entire universe consists of just two elements: matter and energy. Everything perceptible to man has been created through this combination. We cannot see this electro-magnetic field of energy around our body, but it exists.

When we are living by the limiting emotions of survival we are drawing on this field of energy. But in this state the energy is no longer flowing through the body because the body is pulling the energy from the field and storing it in the body.

The body is now like a magnet that has lost its charge, so more matter and less energy. Or more particle and less wave.

We are engaged in the task of bringing our visions into reality, of growing and evolving, and of trying to convert our possibilities and potentials into their physical equivalent. And we are doing this by harnessing nature’s method. By trying to adapt ourselves to nature’s laws.

Ideas are products of the imagination and where we focus our attention is where we place our energy. To make practical use of the faculty of imagination takes practice and persistence. When we can harness this faculty we can use energy for creation, rather than just for survival. Only then can we feel elevated emotions.

When we are in this creative state there is a current running through the body just like a magnet. Now the same type of electro-magnetic field that surrounds a magnet surrounds the body. Now we are harnessing energy in a very productive and creative way. Now the body becomes more energy and less matter.
