Week 9 – The Mystery of Sex Transmutation & The Subconscious Mind

The meaning of the word transmute is the changing or transferring of one element or form of energy into another.

The emotion of sex brings into being a state of mind. Because of ignorance on the subject, this state of mind is generally associated with only the physical act.
But the emotion of sex has the possibility of three constructive potentialities:
The perpetuation of mankind
The maintenance of health
The transformation of mediocrity into genius through transmutation
Sex transmutation is simply and easily explained:

It means the switching of the mind from thoughts of physical expression to thoughts of some other nature.

Sex desire is the most powerful of human desires. When driven by this desire men develop keenness of imagination, courage, willpower, persistence, and creative ability unknown to them at other times.

So strong and impelling is the desire for sexual contact that men freely run the risk of ruining their life and reputation to indulge it.

When harnessed and redirected along other lines this motivating force maintains all of its attributes of keenness of imagination, courage etc, which may be then used as powerful creative forces in the pursuit of a man’s visions and goals.

The desire for sexual expression is inborn and natural. It cannot and it should not be submerged or suppressed. But it should be given an outlet through forms of expression which enrich the body, mind and spirit. If not given this outlet through transmutation, it will seek outlets through purely physical channels.

The person who discovers how to give sex emotion an outlet through some form of creative effort can lift and elevate his creativity to new levels never before available to him.

The emotion of sex contains the secret of creative ability. Destroy the sex glands, whether in man or beast and you have removed the major source of action.

The 10 Mind Stimuli

The human mind responds to stimuli through which it may be keyed-up to higher rates of vibration known as enthusiasm, creative imagination, intense desire etc.
The stimuli to which the mind responds most frequently are:

  1. The desire for sex expression
  2. Love
  3. A burning desire for fame, power, or financial gain (money)
  4. Music
  5. Friendship
  6. A mastermind alliance based upon the harmony of two or more people
  7. Mutual suffering such as that experienced by people who are persecuted
  8. Autosuggestion
  9. Fear
  10. Narcotics and alcohol

The desire for sex expression comes at the head of the list of stimuli which most effectively step-up the vibrations of the mind and start the wheels of physical action.

8 of these stimuli are natural and constructive, 2 are destructive.

These stimuli enable the mind to function at a vibration higher than ordinary normal thought. They have the effect of lifting a person far above the horizon of ordinary thought permitting him to imagine and envision things in a way not possible through ordinary thought.

While on this exalted plane of thought the creative faculty of the mind is given freedom for action. The way has then been cleared for Infinite Intelligence to come to our aid because the mind has become receptive to ideas that could not reach it under any other circumstances.

The Subconscious Mind

It is the connecting link between the finite mind of man and Infinite Intelligence.

Through a method of procedure unknown to man the subconscious mind works day and night to draw upon the forces of Infinite Intelligence for the power with which it voluntarily transmutes one’s desires into their physical equivalent.

The possibilities of creative effort connected with the subconscious mind are stupendous and imponderable. They inspire one with awe.

The 13 principles are the stimuli with which we acquire the ability to reach and to influence our subconscious mind.

Remember it may only be voluntarily directed through good habits. But we can also involuntarily direct and program it through bad habits.

Thoughts of fear, doubt, lack and all negative thoughts will serve as stimuli to our subconscious mind unless we master these impulses.

When we can learn to voluntarily influence it through positive thoughts and elevated emotions we will possess the key which unlocks the door to our subconscious mind.

Positive and negative emotions cannot occupy the mind at the same time.

Rather than thoughts, the subconscious mind understands best the language of emotion and feelings.

The 7 dominant positive and negative emotions

The emotions of Desire, Faith, Love, Sex, Enthusiasm, Romance, and Hope are the major 7. Master these through the law of habit and the other positive emotions will be at our command when we need them.

The emotions of Fear, Jealousy, Hatred, Revenge, Greed, Superstition and Anger are the dominant negative ones to be consciously blocked from entering our subconscious.

The presence of a single negative emotion in our conscious mind is sufficient to destroy all chances of creative aid from our subconscious mind.

There are no toll gates between the finite mind of man and Infinite Intelligence. The communication costs nothing except patience, faith, persistence, understanding and a sincere desire to make this connection.
